| August 3rd Tisbury Footpath Club Evening Walk from Tisbury Square to Chicksgrove/Ladydown 6.30pm. Leader: Rex Sawyer Thursday August 5th Wiltshire Wildlife Trust South West Supporter Group invites you to join them at Langford Lakes, Hanging Langford for a Walk 6.30 pm and BBQ 8.00 pm. The walk will be led by Chris Riley the reserve warden, this will be an opportunity to see part of the recent purchase of adjoining land, the walk will be followed by a BBQ (bring own food, heat provided). August 8th Nadder Valley Fun Dog Show & Air Display at the Compasses Inn, Chicksgrove. This year every penny raised will be going to two charities: Help for Heroes and The Oldies Club - finding homes for older dogs. TISBURY FOOTPATH CLUB. We shall leave Nadder Close at 12.45 pm to start our walk at l.30pm in FROME. Park in the Old Cattle Market Car Park near the TIC & toilets. This will be a leisurely 7 miles walk via Willow Vale, Rodden Church & East Woodlands, (pausing at the village hall for a cream tea! - bring £3.50 to partake) Leader: Stephen Moody TISBURY LOCAL HISTORY SOCIETY trip to Montecute House (NT). For 6.30pm for our usual walk around Wardour led by Jeremy Hooper. 28th August Tisbury Horticultural Society's OPEN ANNUAL SHOW Victoria Hall on at 2.30 pm. A wondrous display of blooms, beans, berries, baking and more: the culmination of a year's work by the gardeners of Tisbury.
